This state of the art facility was where navy officers were trained to use technology like radar. After WWII, the facility was closed.

Today, Ward Island is mostly used by Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

  1. I’ve on mustang island since 1990. It used to be a lovely fishing village. During summer the crowds explode along with 5000 noisy golf carts.
