Jump into Jacob’s Well.

Jacob’s Well is a stunning, picturesque artesian spring that is fed by the Trinity Aquifer–and it also happens to be one of the most sought-after places to go swimming in Texas!

The well itself is a 140-foot deep, fully-submerged cave, and it is a magnificent sight.

The park is open year-round, and you can always check out the well from above, but in order to swim, you’ll need to make reservations weeks in advance for a date between May 1 and September 30 each year.

Downtown Wimberley is packed with unique local shops and boutiques that you won’t find anywhere else, and exploring them is one of the best things to do in Wimberley!

  2. 8/11/23 You need to update your site =Other sites clearly state that Jacob’s Well has been closed in 2022 for the foreseeable future. Due to the drought, The well water level is to low to allow safe swimming . Just check
